Someone else’s brilliance doesn’t make us less brilliant. Perhaps we could spend a little less time looking sideways and a little more time discovering what makes us shine bright.

There is plenty of sky.

Sometimes we drift. Sometimes we ride whatever wave comes our way. And sometimes we choose to navigate, setting an intention and finding our direction again. This is a reflection on losing my compass, resetting it, and remembering the power we have to steer our own lives.

A short break does not have to be a big holiday to matter. Sometimes a footy weekend, a birthday away, a mother-daughter escape or a couple of nights with friends can be enough to create space, connection and memories that last.
